The Ministry of Transportation is undertaking a network improvement plan between southern and Northern Ontario (via the Highway 69 corridor). The section from north of Highway 64 towards Estaire is currently in the Detail Design Phase for the Highway 69 expansion.

The recommended alignment for this section of Highway 69 was previously determined during the Route Planning and Environmental Assessment completed in September 2004. To view the Route Planning and Environmental Assessment Report, please navigate to the Reports section of this website.
